Throughout the North and South Islands you will find sublime areas of native forest - some are just big enough for a picnic, and others take weeks to walk across.

Here's a little taste of two places in the same national park, just 20 minutes drive apart. They couldn't be more different and are both only a 5 minute walk off the main highway.
